Jitendrakumar Prajapati

Jitendrakumar Prajapati, 47, of Boston, Lincolnshire, was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on March 27, 2026, for offences of rape and sexual assault. Prajapati, who worked as a delivery driver, admitted to the offences against a female customer at her home on January 19, 2026.

The court imposed a custodial sentence of five years, which was reduced to three years and eight months following his guilty plea. In addition to this term, Prajapati received an 18-month concurrent sentence for the charge of sexual assault. The court also issued a deportation order against him.

Following the incident, Prajapati attempted to hide evidence by altering his messaging settings and messaging the victim to apologise. He was arrested by Lincolnshire Police shortly after the offence occurred. A charge of non-fatal strangulation, which he was originally arrested on suspicion of, was dropped at court.
