Summary

On 10 December 2006, Rezgar Zengana posed as a private hire taxi driver in Argyle Street, Glasgow. He picked up a 25-year-old female victim and transported her to a private dwelling where he committed the offence of rape.

Zengana was found guilty of rape at the High Court in Glasgow on 6 June 2008. The sentencing for this conviction is outstanding, and he is currently awaiting a final sentence from the court.
