Christine Callaghan

Christine Callaghan, 33, from Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, was sentenced to six years in prison at Isleworth Crown Court in November 2019. Callaghan pleaded guilty to four child sex abuse charges involving a victim aged under 13.

Between 2016 and 2018, Callaghan was paid £2,285 to perform sexual acts and abuse the victim on a live stream for another individual. Investigations by the National Crime Agency uncovered digital evidence, including screenshots of conversations and a hard drive containing recordings of the abuse.

In addition to the custodial sentence, Callaghan was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the sex offenders register for life.
