Overview
Community Safety Network UK (CSNUK) is a public-awareness platform providing source-attributed information from publicly available reports about criminal cases, police misconduct and related community-safety matters.
You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address or other contact details to browse the platform or submit a case. Public case and protest submissions are designed to be anonymous.
This policy explains the information CSNUK publishes and how information provided through the platform is handled.
Information we publish
CSNUK publishes information that has already been publicly reported by reputable sources, including police forces, courts, official bodies and established news organisations.
Published information may include names, photographs, offences, sentences, court details, police-force information, locations and other details contained in the cited public source.
Where possible, published records link back to their original source so users can verify the information.
CSNUK does not intentionally publish private home addresses, private contact details or information obtained through private investigation.
Anonymous submissions
You can submit cases and planned protests without creating an account and without identifying yourself.
CSNUK does not require your name or email address as part of the public submission process.
Information you submit is reviewed by a moderator before publication. Submitting information does not automatically make it public.
Please only submit information from publicly available, reputable sources and do not include unnecessary personal information about yourself or anybody else.
Contacting CSNUK
If you choose to contact CSNUK by email — for example to report incorrect information, provide feedback or express an interest in volunteering — you will be providing your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
Email correspondence is used for handling your enquiry and maintaining the platform.
Contacting CSNUK by email is separate from anonymous case or protest submission.
Cookies and technical information
CSNUK may use technical storage or cookies necessary for the website/app to function correctly, including security and administrative functionality.
Hosting and technical service providers may also process limited technical information required to operate, secure and maintain the service.
CSNUK does not sell personal information to advertisers.
